The author is a National Board Certified teacher. She taught 35 years in Illinois and is currently teaching 4th grade in South Carolina. Throughout her teaching career, she has shared many stories of her grandparents’ farm with her beloved students. She lives in South Carolina with her husband, son, and daughter. She enjoys writing, giving book talks, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
